Anyone that has worked with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between multiple trading partners knows that the way two partners implement the same interface is never the same. It is always cumbersome to onboard new partners and often you end up with multiple point-to-point interfaces, which is a nightmare to maintain. Infor recently completed a Business Object Documents (BOD's) specifically for designed for EDI transactions. These BOD's can be thought of like supersets of information for a particular type of transaction, for example an order.

Integration Wizards saw the potential for Infor to work with SPS Commerce, who already own a massive network of already connected EDI trading partners. This resulted in a new Infor and SPS Commerce co-developed EDI solution where the standard EDI BOD's are pre-configured with SPS Commerce internal message formal (RSX) to support a seamless integration to any or all of the partners in their network. SPS will also maintain the connection to the partners, so for Infor users that means a mimimum of maintenance.
